 Wildfire Catering was born from a love of travel, food, and hospitality. Our founders have worked in kitchens around the world, but their hearts have always been in New England. This is the journey that led to a catering company unlike any other.

Early Inspirations

Childhoods Rich with Flavor

 David Goldstone’s upbringing in New York City introduced him to global cuisine early on, while Bryan McConnaughey’s roots in agriculture and farming instilled a deep respect for fresh, honest ingredients. Both grew up surrounded by families who valued travel and shared meals.

Culinary Education & Travels

Sharpening Skills Around the World

The journey continued in Switzerland, where both chefs trained at the Swiss Hotel Association in Bluche-Crans Montana. From there, they worked in Prague, Austria, Interlaken, Zurich, New York, Orlando, and Charlotte—gaining insight from top-tier kitchens and world-class events including the Oscars and the Olympics.

With years of experience under their belts, David and Bryan returned to New England to launch Wildfire Catering. Their goal? To merge international caliber service with a warm, local approach. Since 2009, that goal has remained their driving force.
